Jayne has had a lifelong interest in art and design. Coming from a creative family that were professionally involved in dressmaking, painting and floristry, it wasn’t long before Jayne found her creative passion for handicrafts and especially handmade jewellery.
After leaving school she worked in fashion across the UK including the West End of London and Kings Rd, Chelsea.
She has created her own brand of handmade jewellery “Fireball Lily", which is costume jewellery that uses various materials.
As part of her next step in her professional development , Jayne is currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Glass, Ceramics, Metal and Jewellery at UCA Farnham. Alongside this she also continues training and learning new skills by attending summer courses such as the Goldsmith's Undergraduate Summer School, Silver Metal Clay and Enamelling.
Now producing jewellery and gifts featuring sterling silver and semi-precious stones, Jayne has created a sister website www.jaynerimington.com
Jayne spends her time creating commissioned pieces, writing tutorials for publications such as Making Jewellery magazine, presenting at workshops and attending various craft fairs around the UK.
